However, a significant roadblock in Illinois will probably cause Bet365’s entry into the Land of Lincoln to be delayed. A moratorium was implemented as part of the new legislation governing sports betting in Illinois, making it illegal for internet-only businesses to start up in the state for the first 18 months following the legalization of online sports betting.
